Commencement is two days away on December 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the University Credit Union Center on the UC Davis campus.
GRADUATE CARD PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
- All graduates are required to have a printed physical grad card, which has your name and will be used to announce your name as you cross the stage.
- You must have it printed prior to arriving at the University Credit Union Center.
- To print, log into the. Once logged in, click the blue button on the top right corner labeled “Print Grad Card”.
- You may print on regular white printer paper.
- Do not lose, tear and write on this card! Don’t forget your card!
GRADUATE ARRIVAL DETAILS:
- Grad entrance opens 60 minutes prior to the ceremony. Please note that doors will open for guests also 60 minutes prior to the ceremony.
- When you arrive at the venue with your printed grad card, please enter through the Southeast (SE) tunnel. The University Credit Union Center requires graduates to have their gowns unzipped prior to entering the venue for security purposes.
- Graduates will make their way to the main floor where seating is first come, first served. They will cross the stage in the order they are seated.
- Majors are not announced at commencement.
- The ceremony is projected to last 1 hour.
- Pre-ordered cap and gowns are now available for pick up through December 12 at the Campus Store lower level Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.. The also provides information on other opportunities to purchase custom souvenirs and gifts.
- Gown rental return will be located in the lobby of the ARC following the ceremony and available for 90 minutes. The last day to return your regalia is Saturday, December 20 at the Bookstore on campus during . A late fee will be charged for returns after this date. More information can be found .
TICKET AND LIVESTREAM INFORMATION:
Guest ticket information:
- The University Credit Union Center is a paperless venue and tickets will be accessed electronically. Guest tickets will be issued to all registered graduates via their UC Davis email.
- Once downloaded, graduates can share the tickets with their guests. One guest may load multiple tickets for their family and friends as long as they are entering the arena together.
- Tickets are not required for children ages 2 and under. Please note that guest tickets are considered “general admission.” This means there are no assigned seats and seating is first come, first served. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and guests should plan to come early to secure their seats.
- Don’t sell your guest tickets: All tickets issued to guests are free. University policy prohibits the selling of commencement tickets for money or for any commercial value. Violation will result in referral to Student Judicial Affairs.
- If guests are not able to attend in person or would prefer to watch at home, ceremonies will be shown live on the commencement homepage and on-demand on the and at our
PARKING INFORMATION:
Graduates and guests are encouraged to park in the Pavilion Parking Structure. Parking is complimentary but does require registration. For step-by-step instructions and more parking info, please visit the .
PHOTOGRAPHY:
Pro Pics is the official photographer for the commencement ceremonies to take portraits of graduates. On-stage photos and individual portraits will be available for purchase from Pro Pics following the graduation ceremony. . There is no cost to have your photo taken and no obligation to purchase. Photos taken by family or friends will be permitted from their seats or from the designated photo areas available during the ceremony. Tripods will not be allowed into any of our commencement venues.

Commencement is just a few weeks away on December 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the University Credit Union Center on the UC Davis campus.
Cap and gowns: Academic regalia is mandatory and don’t forget to order yours now! or contact the UC Davis Bookstore at gradsupplies@ucdavis.edu regarding any questions.
Extra ticket requests: All extra ticket requests have been approved. You may log back into the to see the approval. Tickets will be distributed by December 5 via direct email. Ceremonies will also be livestreamed on and available on-demand following the event for those not able to attend in-person.
Grad card: Note that you will receive instructions to download the card when you receive your guest tickets. The card will be used to announce your name when you cross the stage. Please hold on to it! Majors will not be announced.

Guest arrival: Doors will open one hour prior to the ceremony. Guest tickets are considered general admission and seating is based on a first come, first served basis.
Graduate arrival: Please arrive one hour prior to the ceremony start time with your printed grad card and cap and gown on, but unzipped. Graduates should report to the Southeast (SE) lower level entrance tunnel of the UCU Center. Please go down the outside stairs and through the inside tunnel leading into the UCU Center. You will then proceed to the main floor of the UCU Center where there will be an opportunity for photos and interaction with faculty before the ceremony begins. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. There is no procession and the ceremony is projected to last no longer than one and a half hours.
Limited mobility assistance for guests: There will be shuttle assistance from the Pavilion Parking Structure to the UCU Center and no advance request is required. The University does not provide wheelchairs. The UCU Center has ample limited mobility seating for guests, including for those in wheelchairs, and no advance request is required. Ushers will be available to direct guests to the aforementioned seating upon entrance. If you, as the graduate, have limited mobility concerns for yourself, please contact your commencement coordinator.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration for the Fall 2025 undergraduate commencement ceremony will open on Tuesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. Please note that there is only one (1) fall ceremony being held on Saturday, December 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the . We encourage you to register as soon as you are able at ucdavis.edu/commencement. Graduate seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration Process: You must register to participate in commencement. When registering, you will be asked to claim the number of guest tickets you will need. Each graduate can claim up to four tickets for guests when they register. If you need additional tickets, you may petition for up to two additional tickets during your registration. (Registered graduates participating in the ceremony do not need tickets.)
