How are you an explorer?
"My parents came to the United States as refugees, and I am the first generation in my family to pursue higher education. At UC Davis, I feel challenged but not overwhelmed. I am confident in the academic support provided by the university, and I am able to diversify my skills and résumé."
Why UC Davis?
"UC Davis has a lot to offer. I'm doing more than just getting my bachelor's degree here - I'm having life-changing experiences. I immediately feel welcomed no matter where I am on campus. I have found a supportive community at the Center for African Diaspora Student Success, which provides a space for students to study and socialize."
